at the heart of production processes. Over 2000 applications
in the field of separation technology have been successfully
tested in practice. It seemed logical to include the upstream
and downstream equipment in our product line because our process-specific
know-how has kept pace with the development of our machines over
the years.
Today, Westfalia Separator offers ready-to-connect
separator and decanter systems for numerous processes. The
core competence of the new Westfalia Separator is combining separators
and decanters with process engineering. This strategy has generated
a turnover of 400 million EURO making Westfalia Separator a key
player in the field of centrifugal separation technology.
Westfalia Separator builds state-of-the-art machines
to the highest quality standards. Every machine or process solution
is based on decades of experience combined with intensive research
and development. Westfalia Separator has been working to DIN
ISO 9001 standard since 1989. Further, all domestic and foreign
subsidiaries have been certified to the highest ISO standard since
the beginning of the year 2000. In 2001 the new ISO 9001:2000
standard will be implemented.
Progress in process engineering and developments
in process technologies pose new challenges every day which require
innovative and low-cost solutions. Practical orientation
and customer requirement play a vital role in this connection.

of the year 2000.
Following the successful system audit, Westfalia Separator
is one of the very few global players to be granted a certificate
of quality with world-wide validity.
But this also involves an obligation. Different subsidiaries
will be picked on a random basis every year which must undergo
a system audit and an external monitoring audit.
This world-wide system is a further component for Westfalia
Separator on the road to realising a total quality management
system with the objective of assuring maximum customer satisfaction.
